Yes and plant them soon. They are fairly small for planting them this late. I'd also recommend putting a cage over them. With as small as they are, the birds are going to want to bite them off at the ground.

You should plant them about two feet apart and soon before it gets too late.

nope...plant them outside ...just incase a rabbit or who knows what bothers them you'll still have some...wait until the get double that before you remove the smaller of the group

yes. if you wait longer, the roots will tangle within each other.
1-1/2 ft apart should be good spacing.
