no alchol..was on other meds that the doctor knew about..prescribed by different doctor for back pain...handle caffiene quite well..takes a lot to get me wired..
nyquil does not make me fall asleep..good suggestion but I have tried it before.
I have also hallucinated in the past on vicodin.

excellen t chance - unless it was because of a drug interaction - were you drinking or taking other pills?

Well I think that before anyone takes perscription sleeping pills, they should first try over the counter meds. Walgreens and Wal Mart sell something called "sleep aid" which certainly does the trick for me. If you haven't tried that yet, I strongly urge you to do so. It is non habit forming and contains nothing that will make you hallucinate.

There are a lot of great articles and information on how stress can effect sleep at ( http://www.reducingstress.net ). there are also many tips for solving the problem. Also, there is also a link to the stresseraser which is a great biofeedback device that can help you get to sleep.

Very high, also depends on how well you can handle caffine.

Nyquil is probly the best for everything.
