I tried that several years ago and spent over 40 hours on a sample they sent me. They said it was not good enough, but I have seen similar ones at the store that were not as good. If they had hired me I would have made about 5 cents an hour. Why not sell your crafts at craft shows.

Work at home crafting positions are very, very rarely legit. Take the advice given and don't bother. You can read up on it at http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/invest/homewrk.htm for more information.

Do assess your other skills. If crafting is something you love, you might do well selling it on your own. Then again your skills might point you in another direction. You don't have to stick with the basic work at home ideas; there are amazing possibilities out there. Decide if you want a job or a business and go for it!

If your real question is that you are looking for a "work-at-home" business as you put it, I would suggest you start your own. Set up your own website and become an affiliate markter. Maybe write and promote ebooks. Learn how to make money on google. There are lots of legit ways you can earn online and having your own site puts you in control.

I found some good information on this site and I have a couple of the products. Both have really helped me. Maybe they have what you are looking for.
