If you've read the sixth book of the Harry Potter series, what do you think? I can't think that Sirius and Dumbledore actually died! *sniff sniff* I think R.A.B. is Regulus A. Black, but are there other opinions?

Well, actually I'm quite sure that both Sirius and Dumbledore are dead...

Sirius is dead cuz Harry could hear him beyond the veil just like Luna could hear her dead mother and Neville his dead Grand dad.

Dumbledore is plain dead cuz he was hit with Avada Kedavra and Dumbledore said himself that nothing can bring back the dead.

So *sniff sniff sniff* i think they are dead... though i'd love to be proved wrong. :-|

Anyways,

1.Sirius:I Think They Still Haven't Found His Body So He May Be Alive As He Has Tackled Many Difficulties.
2.R.A.B:We Believe That He IS Regulus Augustus Black,i Think Sirius' Very Close Relative Probably His Brother.
3.Dumbledore:We Have To Accept This I Think, but He Would Be An Animagus Too,But Very Less Chances of Being ALive.

everyone is almost positive that regulus black is r.a.b. it all just fits in so nicely. The heavy locket that was at grimmwald place, which is possible horcrux, in the letter to voldemort rab adresses it to the dark lord, which only death eaters call him. I also believe that sirius and dumbledore are dead, mostly because jk wouldn't be that cruel, and secondly because this is harry's journey and he can no longer have adult figures to protect him. this is when he reaches manhood. there are also other options as to who rab could be i recommend going to http://www.mugglenet.com and looking at the editorials there, they are many hp fans different opinions. I also believe that snape is good. snape agreed to the vow so he would not break his cover, for example, in the book it says that snape flinched at the last vow. also i think that dumbledore views snape's position much greater than his own. dumbledore is no fool to trust someone that much and be tricked, he may make mistakes like any other man, but we have never seen him make a bad judge of character. the only other rab that i can think of is borgin from borgin & burkes.

Regulus A. Black is the only character with the initials R.A.B. that we've encounterd before, so I think it's the only possibility. We'll just have to find out, won't we? Also, I'm hoping Dumbldore and Sirius somehow get revived, but I'm not counting on it. Until book 7, I guess.

It could very well be Regulus, but yes, there are other options like the ones that Hermione mentioned at the end of Half Blood Prince. But JKR said she wasn't going to introduce any new major characters in book 7.. The other possibilities would be Mr. Borgin (of Borgin and Burkes), perhaps even Sirius and Regulus's father... as far fetched as that could be.

I think that RAB is regulus too. As much as I would like to think that dumbledore is still alive how would he survive Avada Kendrava and why was his spell over harry lifted? I think that dumbledore's death was planned by himself and snape soon after bellatrix and draco's mom came to visit him. maybe dumbledore thought that having a spy deep in voldemort's operation would be more useful than he ,dumbledore, staying alive. As far as sirius goes i think he must be dead because i don't think that Remus and Dumbledore would keep something like sirius being alive from harry especially after seeing how much it hurt harry to have sirius ripped from his life but all this is pure theory. i guess no one will know until next summer... I can't wait!!!!!!

I thought the book was beautiful, but my favorite is still Order of the Phoenix.

I lean toward Good Snape and Dead Dumbledore. I think Dumbledore is dead because if he wasn't, then Snape would be. Unless...Draco's orders could be different than what we think. Did it ever outright say that Draco had been commanded to kill Dumbledore?

I think R.A.B. stands for Regulus Adolphus Black. Wasn't one of the Black ancestors named Adolphus???? I think so, maybe not.

I love that site!

www.dumbledoresnotdead.com if you truly don't think he's dead

Sorry to say but i doubt JKR is bringing anyone back from the dead. The R.A.B. thing is EXTREMELY obvious which makes me believe that either shae wanted the readers to figure that out or she wants us to think that only to throw a twist at us. I feel that Harry may not live through his entire series (sorry) and that Snape really isn't evil. His unbreakable vow with Narcissa made him kill Dumbeldore because Draco wasn't able to. I think that in the seventh and final Harry Potter novel Draco is going to side with the ministry against his father and the Deatheaters.

All in all the book was fantastic.

SIRIUS IS SOOO ALIVE
i just don't get the black curtain thing
where's his body?!?
and Dumbledore's portrait is still in the Headmaster's office, so there's no point in Harry leaving Hogwarts, because he can still consult with Dumbledore's portrait!!!

I believe Dumbledore is an animagus. A phoenix. I believe he flew away during the funeral. Sirius is dead. Sad but true. R. A B. is Sirius' brother. He knew what Voldermort was doing was wrong and wanted to redeem himself somewhat.
