I don't like it and it serves no purpose in accomplishing anything. Those people get off on it if people respond and they just laugh about it and keep doing it then. They should be arrested or put in the loony bin. Anybody who buys into that stuff should be educated about it and then stop replying to those, unless they are just doing it for a joke. I guess the people who send those are often bored and just kidding around for the most part, so they should not be put away for that, but they should be contacted by law enforcement to see if they are mentally stable.

I have seen one about this Amy Bruce (who by the way is seven years old since 1998 or so) who is dying of cancer, and they ask you to resend the email N times so AOL can give her family 5 cents per email. I can't believe people sitll fall for it.

I have a sister-in law who believes all of them and sends them to me [bless her] she thinks her bad luck is my fault cause I don't pass them on, at times I just tell her I do.
