Such a lame, pathetic excuse for an argument.

Did you forget all the millions of Jews killed by Hitler?

Are you forgetting all the millions killed in the Cultural Revolution (China)? (over 50 million!!!)

Do you overlook all the millions killed in wars and regional conflicts not involving the US?

And, of course, lest you think to dismiss me as a Jingoist Yankee, haven't you forgotten that the US killed many more Japanese in the firebombing of Tokyo than perished in both atomic blasts?

I hope I at least pissed you off, heaven forbid I might have managed to get you to think before posing such simplistic and closed-loop questions.

I don't care about the points. I only answered because I think you need to get out of your little box.

Sorry when how long ago did the USA use the Atomic Bomb.
And how many times since then, have they used, or threatened to use, any of their nuclear Arsenal.
Come to think of it how many Nuclear countries, have used the threat of launching their Nuclear weapons against any other country.
ONE that being IRAN and they don't even have the Nuclear weapon available to them yet.
Although they are working on it.
World Threat< Fanatical Muslim Extremists>.
War against Terror.
Aggressor< An Unstable country with nuclear power>

No, I think any Country with Nuc's is a possible threat...no matter which way you look at it. We used them, yes, but for a good reason in my opinion! If we hadn't used them ....then I think we would have been worse off.

Now the war on terror??? Well that's a very long and up-hill battle that I think ultimately you can't prevent nor stop. It's a no win situation. There will always be people old, young alike, some not even born yet or just babies who can grow up in whatever enviorment they grow up in and still have radical crazy views of the world. In the middle east they are teaching their children to " Hate " and commit terrorists acts ...so even if we got rid of all these terrorists now...there's going to be a whole new generation spawned off the same " Ideology " or just be angry we killed their family members, friends and their Country!

You're a stupid little ****, b;,'ch. You'd be speaking German now if it wasn't for us. Let's not forget that we were neutral until the Japs bombed Pearl Harbor for no good reason killing thousands on a quiet Sunday morning. How many of our freighters were sunk in the Atlantic trying to support you sitting out there all alone in the Atlantic surrounded by the big bad Germans. Plus the United States never tried to rule the world as the British did. How many millions were killed in your colonies. You need a good b>'@ch slapping.

I think liberals fighting against the war on terror are a menace to society and a threat to freedom worldwide.

Aren't you paying attention? We're the GOOD GUYS. Every time we come on screen, there's the diffused lighting and violin music. Everybody else gets the heavy percussion and funny camera angles. Dead giveaway, right there. They're even called the "Axis of Evil," for cryin' out loud! What more do you want?

i don't need no sources to tell me a lot of people died with nuclear weapons but the americans never dropped anymore, most of the budget is spent on fighting wars there hasnt been a world war from they got dropped. most nations prospered after wars. but i see nuclear weopons as a detterent. you can't win a war with them.

Hey question person ...... do you have any idea how many Japanese died from the two atomic bombs ? Less than 100,000. Any idea how many Japanese died in the weeks preceding the two atomic bombs ? Over 500,000 people ... 500,000 people were killed as city after city was fire bombed and Japan still refused to surrender.

Dropping the atomic bombs saved the lives on countless Japanese and American lives.
