okay i`m asian. my eyes a light brown and they are blue/grey in fluorescent lighted areas, they are golden-hazel under the sun. why is that? all my other friends don`t have these kind of reactions in their eyes when they are exposed to light or anything like that.

please no offensive/insulting answers. i know it may be weird for an asian to actually have changing eye colors but thanks.

The color of the light-spectrum you are in may be affecting the color you percieve. (i.e. Lightbulbs produce light near the red end of the spectrum making your eyes appear a different color than when in fluorescent which produces light near the blue end of the color specturm) Sun light is all colors, therefore making every color stand out equally.

Eyes can also change color depending on a person's mood, temperature, age, hormone level, and many other factors in the enviornment.

personally the color of my eyes has a special name, its called witch-fire, they are green when i am manic, and blue/grey when I am depressed.

Hope this answers your question. ;)

It's normal. My eyes are brown (not dark), but they change green, grey, blue, and once they looked purple. They also change to a golden color in the light.... (dim light, tho)

They look mad sexy. lol. You have very nice eyes.

fabrics and paints do the same thing

it's called metamerism - when colors look different under different lighting conditions.

at least you're not like my son - he has one blue eye and one green eye - in all lighting situations
