Does anybody out there still think there ever were weapons of mass destruction?

I am not going to say that there were because there is no proof but if there were weapons of mass destruction then they would've been easy to ship to a different country before we arrived to search for them they do have american tv so they would know we were coming

What do we THINK we know?

The Clinton administration thought there were WMDs in the area from Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan. There were probably more in the former USSR republics surrounding that area. WMDs would be nuclear materials of many grades and chemical/biological weapons and technologies.

The borders that are in place on a map today does NOT represent the PEOPLE who live between those lines. Iraq is on a map because the world agreed on the borders after WWI, the various peoples who inhabit the area are scattered across these borders. A weapon does not have to be IN Iraq to be accessible to the people who used to run Iraq. Syria is probably harboring MANY bad people and MANY bad weapons.

Why don't we go there??? We will...........soon enough. We cannot leave the area without cleaning it ALL up. It is sad but true.

We can't leave before the job is over because Israel will do it if we don't...........and we are basically their Big Brother. We take the heat for them and they exist because of us.

But they CAN take care of themselves because they ALSO have many WMDs..........and they ABSOLUTELY will use them to protect themselves from total annihilation. The surrounding Arab countries brag about how they want to eliminate Israel from the map and Israel takes them VERY seriously.

As the lone surviving super power we are trying to keep some sort of stability in the area.......although it looks really shaky in the short-term.

It will be a near miracle if we can disarm these different factions that absolutely HATE each other....before they let it allllll hang out and start blowing each other up.


Some people think that would be a good idea. Obviously the men and women that we have elected and the men and women that are in the military are trying to keep this blow-up from happening.

The only WMD's were the ones the Americans gave the Iraqi's in the first place...rmember Saddam and Rumsfeld's "Golden Handshake" back in 1983?
Folks, let's keep in mind: in the modern era, the first time WMD's were used by ANYBODY were the A-Bombs America dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Oh, by the way, Japan had already surrendered by that point. If it wasn't for the States, there would be NO SUCH THING as WMD'S in the first place! The collective amnesia astounds me.

USA gave them to Saddam during the war of Iran_ Iraq
but they destroyed the rest through the inspection anyway USA didn't invade Iraq for protecting the world and itself for the Iraqi mass destruction

Had to be. How else did Hussain kill 300,000 Kurds? He gassed them. That's mass destruction. While Bushy Boy was giveing umpteen warnings, Sadam shipped them to Syria and buried some in a desert the size of Alabama....somewhere.
