Because that would ruin the story!

Actually those personal details of life are left out of all kinds of cartoons, books, news articles, TV shows, etc. Urination and defacation are kind of taboo subjects, and people would complain if they were used too much in stories. So they're left out.

okay, let's be logical here. Everybody has to go to the bathroom, and everyone does. Superheros are no exception, neither are characters in cartoons or movies. You don't want to watch your fav hero on the toilet grunting and groaning while pushing a big one out! You want to see their toil and triumph of the battles and love life--that's it.

If you were being followed around 24 hours a day with video cameras, you'd demand some privacy for those moments.

They do, it's just the never show it. Like at tv shows and movies, the stories are about someone's life, with all the boring parts cut out, that inclueds trips to the bathroom. But in the case of like Superman or any of the heros that come from other worlds, maybe they don't? But I'd think any living thing would have waste to get rid of.

It's sort of like how on '24', no one gets tired or hungry. Jack can't stop at a 7-11 for a sandwich when the clock is ticking.

They go offscreen.

Supes and the Flash could go in 1 sec in the middle of battle in a bathroom on the otherside of the planet and no one would notice.

The Hulk probably goes in his pants.

It's a part of their heroic makeup---save the world and never go to the bathroom. That and it's a mundane thing to draw. Who really wants to see Batman take a piss?

Because that is part of their super powers - not having to go to the bathroom, the only exception is the "Invisible Man" he goes...but he's invisible so we don't see it.
