You should go to the emergency room and have them check that out. That sound scary. You might have ripped a nerve or something like that.

I dislocated my right shoulder in a car accident and had a similar problem with numbness, weakness and pain. The ulnar nerve was pinched by the joint, in my case. Once my swelling went down, the problem resolved itself over about a month, but I had to have ultrasounds and an x-ray to keep an eye on it. Please go back to A&E or at the very least return to your doctor. You can incur long term damage from pressure on nerves.

GO TO THE NEAREST EMERGENCY ROOM--NOW! Let them check it out and decide if this is something you can expect or if it's considered "normal" for someone who has had a dislocated shoulder. On the chance of nerve damage, the longer you wait, the less chance of a successful recovery.

My uncle got into a car accident and that happened to him. He can't drive, and he can't lift his arm or move his fingers or hand... or anything. Even now, like 2 or 3, or 4 years(..i can't remember...) after he still can't move his arm. I don't know if it is normal... But you should talk to a doctor about it... That's a definite...

it sounds to me like a trapped nerve, hopefully nothing more serious, you should have an xray or cat scan done to investigate the damage further, and dont worry, with the help of a physiotherapist, you willl regain movement and feeling.
i dislocated my knee skiing in february, ended up having surgery on it to remove grit. i'm still recovering but i swear by physiotherapy, it's amazing. you have to do all the exercises given every day or you'll be wasting your time and money!!

He might not be able to express his concern properly. he should at least offer to take care of you in some way. If you can handle not have a caretaker then just don't say anything but if you want somebody to care he probably never will be that kinda guy.

It is time to go to the doctor! The numbness can be a sign of nerve damage or excessive swelling at the point of trauma. either way just go to the doc to check it out

Get back to see a Dr. That doesn't sound good at all. Sounds like something has gotten pinched and is cutting off the nerve function.
