about $50 DirecTv , have 2 hookups and just one level up from their basic level, basically I pay an extra $5 for my kids to have Boomerang, (actually I like it too ;) ) they just raised their rates while Dish Network lowered theirs,(but I loathe their service)....I cannot have cable I live way out in the sticks....

We have basic cable (not digital) which costs a whopping $48.37. We pay an additional $42.95 for high-speed Internet. (It would be $15 more if we didn't have cable TV.) DSL and dish service would be cheaper, but DSL would be significantly slower, so we've stuck with cable.

Our cable was around $45 a month, and our Direct TV we have now is around $80 a month, but much more worth it.
