Start spending time with those who do not think you are ugly. Get away from the negitive people in your life and start reaching out to others that feel your same pain. Most of the time if you help someone who feels down and out, you start to see your feelings are not so bad. Since you feel ugly, perhaps it time to start showing your talents and your self esteem will impove. Get some help if you are on drugs or alcohol. Maybe you need a 360, change your ways, and get into helping in your community. Do something for someone else and you will start feeling a bit better about who you are.

Volunteer. Do something that will build your self esteem. Ugly is a state of mind for the most part. Beauty radiates outward. I know a girl who thinks she is all that, but once she opens her mouth the ugly flows. And I am not talking about cussing, I am talking about her way of looking at things and her self-centeredness. It is all about her and only her. It is sad. On the other hand...
My daughter, 16, is dating another 16 yr old who I most likely would not have chosen for her (if I was the type to prejudge someone by their looks, which I do not), but he is such a gentleman, respects her and that is where his handsomeness comes from.
So hang in there and chances are you are much cuter than you think. Stay positive, and find confidence building skills. I will pray for you.
There is a website www.selfesteemusa.com..it is a girls website BUT there is a page on building self esteem and it applies to all genders. Click on it, you just may get some ideas.
Good luck.

Remember the story of the ugly duckling? It turned it was really a swan. Who knows, take a fresh look at yourself in the morning. Maybe change your hairstyle, try a different makeup, spend some money and pamper yourself. The goodness inside will show through you know. I think that appearance is usually only the first step when meeting someone. I've known some lovely girls who were as shallow as can be. I've known plain girls who I would rather spend time with.

Think about all those people in the world who dont have faces from scars or burns, people with leprosy who are judged insatntly by a condition they cant help. How about people who dont have arms or legs or even teeth?
Consider yourself blessed to have all the things you do in life that you take for granted. Stare in the mirror and realise, life could be a lot more worse for you.
Be happy and grateful. Besides, its whats on the inside that really matters. Not many people realise that today but if you're beautiful on the inside, people will eventually get to know and like you for you!

you arent ugly, work on your self esteem because it seems you may have some issues there... get a manly makeover i know it sounds funny but it may make you feel better to get a new look, (im assuming your a guy, if your female then same) work out and excersize, eat healthy... because it could lead to depression. get a new haircut and some new clothes is what I meant by the manly makeover lol... anyway never think that you are ugly... personify yourself with confidence and do the best with what you have

I agree with pastel2. Everyone feels ugly at times. Do things that make you happier and healthier. Go for long walks, hang out with friends/family, start a new hobby, etc.

Well start out by making a list of the things that you believe are ugly. Then start one by one and do something about them so that instead of hating them, you will be pleased with those areas.
