It's likely you are naturally shy and sensitive and find it hard to be around a lot of people. If you isolate yourself and spend too much time alone...you may be starting a pattern that will be hard to change later. Go out sometimes.*

Maybe you're just shy, or maybe large crowds aren't your cup of tea. Are you happier in a small group of friends rather than in a large group of people, some of which you don't know well? Do you feel more relaxed at home? Do you prefer not to put yourself in social situations? There is nothing wrong with you at all. As long as you consider yourself a pretty stable person, and you aren't the type to stay at home alone building pipebombs, then don't sweat it. Maybe you can take an "interpersonal communications" class, or a "speech" class at school or at the nearby community college. That should help you come out of your shell more. Good luck!

Nothing maybe your afraid that there will be drinking and the party will be raided with cops and you will get in trouble.......But if there are some of your friends there and all you want to do is hang out then go for it you only live once and you should have fun while you can just go to a couple of parties so that you can say while you were young you had some fun with it and when you are older like me you will not regret it......I am 19 trust me it is not fun being home on your own go to the parties and have some fun just if there is drinking do not accept a ride home it could ruen your life if there is an accident.......Go for the parties.....Good Luck........Let me know how it goes........

Just go... it sounds as though you may have a medical or emotional issue check with your doctor. But take it from experience go when invited because someday the invites will stop and you will wish you had people to do things with...nothing worse than being alone take it from my experience I let my friends go and now I wish I had some...socialization is something we all need even if you think you don't...Make yourself get out there it will get easier the more you go..Be thankful you have friends that call...

There's nothing wrong with you hun. you probably just want to be alone. Maybe one day you should go parties are fun even if your not the crunkest person there you will still have fun. Maybe you think that you won't fit in, but trust me hun thats all in your head. once you get there you will see that everything is cool. P.S: Evidently they think your cool or else they wouldn't be inviting you now would they! Bye.

Maybe your like me, and enjoy the company of just a few people. Or you are anti-social. I get off of work at 11 pm on the weekends, so I am ready to go home and sleep, rather than party. I am pretty anti-social though. Just deal with it.

nothing. Maybe you do not want to go to parties. Maybe you do not want to be around the people that has asked you to the party. Maybe smaller parties are what you would like to be invited to. Wait, are you shy? That could be what you are and need a little encouragement. That is all that it could be.
