Lithium is the number one drug for people who have Bi-Polar. It is used sometimes in conjunction with other anti-depressant drugs. As with any drug, Lithium takes several weeks to reach it's full maxium benefit. And many times, your doctor may want to adjust your dosage too from time to time.

Everybody's body chemistry is different. But I would safely say that you will notice a improvement within 3 to 6 weeks.

Good luck to you and I hope you feel better soon! Take care!

All I can tell you is I took Lithium once for Panic Disorder and it worked great. Give it a while to get in your system to see if it really helps you.
