It was this rather cheap plastic toy that was usually white and another color (blue & white, red & white etc).
You could twist and bend it into different shapes.
Anyone know where I may be able to find one?

Well I guess you got your answer! I have like 3 of them, 1 that makes into a ball, my kids keep stealing them from me though, do you know where I can get a Wheelo?
