In North America anyway. We suck up to women and they hate us for not being men, we don't speak our minds because we are afraid of offending someone. Are real men a dying breed?

Hey, who told you that you could ask this question? Shouldn't you be doing someone's laundry?

By being a real man do you believe you should never consider the possibility of offending someone? Never speaking your mind has more to do with your own self-esteem of which shouldn't be tied to women, and it shouldn't be so obvious as to never open your mouth whenever you're with a woman. How is it that men suck up to women? Would sucking -up have anything to do with being thoughtful, and loving? Were real men ever a breed? I want to think that a real man is supportive of women, as well as children and other men. Conflict doesn't necessarily mean you're REAL!!!

Real men? I don't know how to define that. Neither do they, and that is the problem. They try to be loud and bossy like their fathers, then when women won't tolerate it they say we won't let them be men. A real man should lead his household, but rely heavily on his wife's opinions. He should embrace his responsibilities and always be true to his beliefs. Being a man is not an excuse to treat women unfairly, then claim they want to emasculate you if they don't like it. Women have to do most things that men do now, sometimes because the men won't. If she is shouldering half or more of the responsibilities I don't think she'll be open to taking orders.

There is a world of difference between treating a woman kindly, and sucking up to her, or thinking that treating a woman decently is sucking up. It is possible to be a real man, a kind man, a gentleman, without being a wuss. A wuss whines about what is acceptable behavior.
