If shooting is out of the question, try hiring a birs handler to come along with a bird of prey. They will swoop around and scare off those pesky varmants, but as they are trained won't kill them. Generally this gets rid of them for a while but eventually they do return.

I would like to know too! We have hundreds pecking at our fields & gardens. The neighbor says he sees them in it all day long! Im going to try metal pinwheels & noisy things to scare them outta my garden, maybe you can put some in your trees or close to it on poles.
