Im 21 and live in Pa. So far i seem to be standing in the same place as when i graduated high school. It seems to me that the people i hang with are really not doing much of anything with their lives either. I recently contacted my uncle in arizona and he offered me a place to live and pay my way out there. They are very successfull people and also born again christians. I dont know what to do. my family doesnt want me to go, but i feel this may be a positive move for me. Also im a lil worried about leaving everything i know. If anyone has any personal advice or has went through the same thing before please share.. i need all the advice i can get.. Also is arizona a good place to even live? Plz help

Tell you what, I made the move from MD to CA, then from CA to FL in the span of about 4 years so I imagine what's going through your head. Sure, it's never easy leaving a place that your comfortable in, but it's time to rock and roll and experiance new things in this life. You are being offered a chance to make a change with nothing to lose - go for it.

Your 21. Your in your prime and it sounds like nothing is holding you back. I have family in AZ and it's going to bake in the summer, and be downright arctic in the winter so keep tabs on the temperature forcast. The best thing I remember about PA is your strawberry milk - you can do much, much better then that :) Good luck!

GO FOR IT! You can always come back if you don't like it. The job market is much, much better out west. I am from Pennsylvania also, and I just came back from visiting friends in Arizona. Arizona is absolutely beautiful! I wish I would have moved when I was younger...it wouldn't be so hard to do now. The longer you wait, the harder it's gonna be. DO IT!! The offer is there for you. Just remember....you can always come back! It's not like you're stuck out there forever, but at least you'll know you tried.

I think that you should move, you have nothing to lose and all the experience to gain. If you don't like it you can go back home. I recently moved away from everything that I knew (Not cross-country) but a good 5 hrs away by myself and it was the best decision I have ever made. My friends and family visit and I also visit home whenever I can. Don't know much about Arizona except that it is hot...but closer to Vegas!!!

I gradually moved from WA state to TX (single w/ a five year old son at the time) it was scary but my sister let me live with her. But I moved out on my own after six months. It was the best thing ever. I got to explore a little on the way but of course I had to pay for may move on my own. Go for it!

It is generous of your uncle to move you to AZ. But are you a born again christian? If not you well hate living with him. They are hung up on converting everyone to their way of thinking. If you are born again go for it. They are sound like they are connected and can get you a good job. If you are not born again go to school and meet some new people.

JUST DO IT, YOU DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO LOSE. IF IT DOESN'T WORK OUT COME BACK HOME BUT AT LEAST YOU WILL KNOW. I USE TO WORK FOR U-HAUL AND A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE MOVING TO ARIZONA AND THEY SAY ITS GOOD ECONOMY OUT THERE. A LOT OF COMPANYS HAVE THEIR CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS IN PHOENIX (INCLUDING U HAUL) AND THEIR D/L DONT EXP FOR DAMN NEAR 20 YEARS!
