Since I don't have a BF, I'm not sure that would be a good idea. But for you, still, BAD idea!

NEVER get a tattoo of anyone's name other family. Family will always be family, Boyfriends, even potentially husbands, can come and go. If and when the relationship falls apart, you'll be the fool with the guy's name permanantly a fixed to your body like a label of failure.

Well, since you are asking for OPINIONS, here goes! People get scars and go to doctors to have them removed. To me a tatoo is like a scar, in fact I call them shi*house-wall art. Why people put stuff (kitch) on their bodies that they would only leave on a wall just a bit before painting over it, is a puzzle to me. (Have you ever noticed how all tatoos, no matter what colors used originally, just turn a nasty shade of green?)
What if you and your bf split up? Then you have his name permanently stuck on your body. (Other guys will really love that!)
OK, that was honestly my opinion (what you asked for). I'm not trying to be a smarta**, that's just the way I look at it. Get him a rod and reel, or something he can get some use out of.

How would a tatoo of your bf be a Father's Day gift? You expect your father to wear a tatoo of your bf? Are you going to get one? If that's the case, being a father, no way, I don't even like them on men!

I am not a man, but I am going to answer anyway..........WHY would you tatoo yourself with your boyfriend's name for father's day? How does that make any sense at all? Do you have his baby? If you are not married to the guy, why would you do such a thing to your body? EVEN if you were married, why would you do it? The guy isn't your father, I don't get it.

By father's day the guy could be history and there you go with his name on your body. Tatoos are very expensive to have removed and painful going on and coming off.

Just go have "stupid" tatooed on your forehead and get it over with.

Nothing in life is permanent. Even if you're married... Even if he's your baby's daddy... there may come a point where you'd regret having his name stuck to your body. Because that IS pretty permanent.
