The president stated that marriage is to procreate, that's why only and a man and a women should marry but, what about those who can't or are to old to have kids, Will they be told they can't marry somewhere down the road? What about the married couple who choses not to have kids will they too be penalized and made to divorce? If we don't fight now ,we are asking for trouble, we will be stripped of our rights one by one!

It's vote-pandering, pure and simple.

No, stating that marriage is only to procreate is just an excuse they give for denying gays their right to marriage.

If these so-called traditional value types really cared about the sanctity of marriage, they'd criminalize divorce and adultery.

I see your point but its not meant in that text (my opinion). What he is trying to say is "Marriage" is for man and woman and has been from the very beginning. What gays do is their business and if they want a civil union then so be it. But I do ask however that the word "marriage" be left to represent the union of man and woman.

Marriage is about love, not procreation. That is what sex is for.

He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, sweetie, you don't have to believe everything he says.

SAME SEX MARRIAGE IS WRONG!!! But, if allowed, I say whatever, Just pass a law that says gay couples CANNOT RAISE KIDS!

Why f*-k-up their liefs?
