Have you ever thought that you might be taking the wrong kind of vacation if the kids are driving you nuts? Or, have you thought about the manner in which you are bringing them up that allows them to drive you nuts during vacations?

I can understand the frustration of bringing kids on vacation...but think of the culture and experiences they share with you....who better to share them with?? Set guidelines...tell them if they don't behave they can't do things...explain to them that it is vacation time for mommy and daddy too...and you'd like to relax...might be better advice if I knew how old they were....check withhotels you stay at for babysitting or daycare...sometimes they offer it and then you could have a day to yourselves....might be worth the extra $$$ good luck!

Yeah, I know the feeling. But I hope your not putting yourselves in dept to do that every year. Why not just buy a Six Flags pass or Hurricane Harbor pass and take them there all year round?

I would Love to go on vacation, but i can't afford it. I would take vacations all over the world, such as Italy and Hawaii. So you should be glad to go on vacation. I know I would.

UGH is right - at those ages they are always "bored." You could have spent a fortune bringing them everywhere they want to go and 2 minutes later "I'm bored."

Also at those ages they fight among themselves a lot - which can drive parents cRaZy!!!!!
