From what I have heard, they closed it down briefly to adjust the ride to make two separate experiences. One for people who are prone to motion sickness but still would like to enjoy the ride (it doesn't spin) and one that is the traditional ride. As far as I know, they should both be up and running by now in time for the summer rush.

Heres a real good idea go look on the Disney web site dumbo, which by the way is another Disney character

I believe that they modified the ride to include 2 different levels (mild & wild , maybe LOL) Check the DisneyWorld website. click on "updates"- you can find out what rides and/or areas are closed for refurbishment during your visit.

Yep it is up. We just got back 2 weeks ago and rode it.
