Just go up and ask her. She does it too and she knows that eventually you will want to also. She can help you buy a good razor and and maybe some shaving cream, that can help you not cut yourself (although it will probably happen at some point in time if you are in a hurry and not being careful) and can moisturize your legs also. My advice: take your time when shaving and be careful around the ankles and knees!

Why are you embarrassed? It is a natural part of becoming a woman...we have hairy legs! : ) Just say; "mom, I'd like for you to pick up some good disposable razors for me please". See, that was easy, right? Be sure to lather your legs up well, take your time, and make sure to clean the razor. Disposable razors are great because you can toss them after a couple of shaves. Then, put a good moisturizer on your legs and you're ready to go.

if your embarrased to ask her just leave a note somewhere where she'll see it. I think before you use a shaver though try waxing or hair removal cream to see which one you prefer because with shaving you end up with cactus legs :P....the hair will end up growing really thick and you'll have to shave it every other days... not fun at all :(. I've heard some people say with waxing they end up only having to remove it once a year since it stops the hair growing quickly.

I don't think you have a reason to be embarassed, just speak to her like an adult, really. I know some parents are still really strict about that, like if you hit a certain age or whatever. But whatever your Mom says, respect her decision and that will, i'm sure, open her mind up to your choice.

My daughter just flat out told me that she didn't want to be the only girl walking around with hairy legs. I completely understood how she was feeling and immediately went out and got her everything she would need to start shaving. Just be honest with your mom. There's nothing to be embarrassed about.

Just ask her! What is more embarassing, asking your mom the question or a boy seeing your gorilla legs?

just tell her "Mom, I think I'm ready to start shaving my legs. I don't want to be made fun of because they're too hairy."
ask her for help on learning how to shave because you could cut yourself. When i first started I got my mom to help me and then i slowly but surely learned how to shave and be safe about it so I wouldn't cut myself.
