The sign is equal or less than.
x= 0 or 1 or 2 and so on.

the sign for greater than or less than is not the underlined less-than symbol. the sign for greater than or less than is <>. this can also be represented with the not-equal sign, which is an equal-sign with a slash through it. the symbol you have described is "less than or equal to."

so:

2 - x <= 2
-x <= 0
x <= 0

2-x <> 2
-x <> 0
x <> 0

so you can see, the answer you get changes based on the question you ask, which (as i've already pointed out) is not the same question at the end as it is at the beginning.

do i win?

x=1

2-1<2 because 2-1=1 & 1 is less than 2.

X>0

cause

2-x<2
-2 -2

-x<0
divide both sides by -1

x>0

because dividing by a negative number flips the sign

It's a less than sign and a line underneath it would mean equal to. So it would me 2 minus x is less than or equal to 2.

Easy points

x must be greater than zero

because 2 minus any positive figure will be less than 2
