if you want pi out to a greater number of digits use the Bailey-Borweion-plouffe algorithm :

just keep calculating the formula out for higher and higher k's. the more times you calculate it, the closer to the actual value of pi you get.

(or you can just use maple, a math program)

using maple I'll give 20 decimal places of pi :
3.1415926535897932385
