She is ok with me seeing it but not on the big screen because of the violence. But I don't want to wait almost a year to see it on DVD. What should i do? If you could give me a review on the violence that would talk my mom out of her "no", i would deeply appreciate it. PARENTS ESPECIALLY!!!

I am 13 and for this purpose I shall gloat that I am quite mature for my age and know the difference between movies and life. I and a good kid and have absolutely no reason to even think about being violent.

Obey your mother. However, you have better grammar and writing skills than most on yahoo answers. That must give you some level of maturity not often found here. Violence in the context of a super-hero movie is not the same as a movie trying to realistically reproduce life. You are less likely to emulate super-hero violence because you don't have the ability to pick up a car and hurl it at your 40ft enemy. As long as you explain to your mother that you understand the difference between fantasy and reality, she might be more apt to accomidate you. Zoinks.

The violence really wasn't that bad at all. It was mosty explosions and animated violence, nothing like the first two films. They were much more violent.
The movie instead is packed with much more action than violence. Depending on the child's age I'd say boys 8 or 9 and up, with a parent, could see the film.
If I remember it correctly, that is.
Although there is a partially naked woman but you can NOT see anything besides her skin. That stands out to me much more than the violence does.

It is not really violent, there are a couple of fighting scenes, but regular fighting scenes that i guess you can see on regular cartoon movies such as Dragon Ball Z, (my bro watches it). I didn't really see any blood, herez the movie moms review. And theirs only one sexual scene, but its just kissing and that's all.
Audience: 12 and up
MPAA Rating: PG-13 for intense sequences of action violence, some sexual content and language..
Profanity: Some strong language
Nudity/Sex Some scanty attire, brief nudity, sexual situation, and mild sexual references
Alcohol/Drugs: Smoking
Violence/Scariness: Intense peril and violence, some graphic, many characters injured or killed
Diversity Issues: A theme of the movie
Release Date: May 26th, 2006 (wide)

just don't tell her and go watch it with a friend. The violence is very minimal like small blood and flesh here and there.

i'm no longer an observed mom, however the older sister of two (now person) observed brothers. i think of roughly their organic and organic mom almost ever time I see them. in comparison to most of the "heat fuzzy" thoughts here, that's no longer what i think of in any respect. i'm going to no longer hate her with an identical venom I felt while i became youthful, yet I nevertheless think of of her with a bitter scorn in my heart. i think of of ways particularly merciless she became to do what she did to those boys (they have been the two born with FAS) and to the 5 different infants she bore who have been observed out to households different than mine. i think of of her because of the fact the epitome of a lot is incorrect with our society. on an identical time as now and back i can discover pity in my heart for her, there is by no ability heat temperature and truly by no ability LOVE. Oh, particular, she gave me my brothers - yet she did no longer provide them the lives they could desire to have had. She bore infants that have been mutilated from start - broken so as that their lives might continually continually be mere shadows of what they could desire to have been, with greater soreness and frustration than anybody could desire to could desire to bear. What, precisely, am I meant to love approximately that? on the different hand, i comprehend that no longer all "start mothers" are like her. i comprehend different households that have amiable or maybe friendly relationships with the organic and organic mom and dad of their infants. Others, who've much less open relationships, nevertheless have a feeling of gratitude in the direction of the barer of their beautiful infants. it particularly is powerful, in circumstances the place the mummy did all she could desire to to guard the newborn and easily could desire to no longer boost him/her.
