Do you consider Nicole Richie Black or White?

I do not mean any offense , she's pretty anyway. I was telling a friend today that she was white and she insisted that she's black!

Nicole Richie's mom is white and her dad is black. When she is asked what color she is that is her response. What she thinks is probably more important than what we think considering it's her skin. In pictures of her when she was younger her hair was black and she looked more black. Now that she's blond she looks more white.

Nicole was born in Berkeley, California. According to an April 2006 Tatler magazine interview with Nicole, her biological father, Peter Michael Escovedo, was a drummer who worked with Lionel Richie; her biological mother was a backstage assistant for Lionel. When Nicole was three, Lionel and his wife Brenda Harvey-Richie informally adopted her and raised her as their daughter. When she was nine, they went through the legal formalities of the adoption; she still speaks with her biological mother.

Sheila's brother is Nicole's real dad - As everybody knows Lionel Richie adopted Nicole.

OK, this question had me busting out laughing when I read it. No idea why, I just found it funny.

I've always thought that she was white. Wasn't she adopted by Lionel Richie?

I think of her as white. She might have some of lionel (sp) in her, but it is all about enviroment. If you were to see her on the street, you would question the fact if someone told you she was half black, and this is because of her mannerisms and attitude. Look at how she talks, acts, behaves. All of it is much more caucasian.

she is half black and half white, and i know you dont mean any offense lol actually I think that people who have mixed origins turn out to be some of the most beautiful people... and hardly anyone is purely one color or for that matter from one origin anymore, we all are mixed in some form or another im part german, irish and cherokee indian, mostly indian as my great grandmother was full blooded cherokee

both. She is of mixed hertiage. You cannot define it anymore than that b/c one race would be eliminated. Black and white together.
Pitons56...she is not Michael Jackson. Some people don't know their true background. And if not...it is her choice. We are human and that is what counts.
