1) Everyone must be treated equally, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.
2) No cannibalism.
3) The leader must be democratically elected, and all decisions must be voted on my a majority of the populace.
4) Someone must press the correct sequence of numbers on the hatch every 108 minutes, or else.

Since this is your island....it seems only fitting....
We declare there be an 8th day to the week.....let this day be known as Punday. All those who reside on this island MUST participate in a fun filled day of Word Play. No one shall be exempt from this celebration unless there is ample proof he/she has been previously diagnosed with "Punaphobia" which is an extreme fear of being punny. Those who suffer from such a disorder are required to meet on Punday to discuss his/her fear. This group will be required to entertain the others with a song:

But one little thing. Be the opening door for peace into your heart. These are my words, but I am simple man. There is much of the hate in world, do not addict to this. Be rejoicing of love. Find this truth over ocean waves. Cast hate to waves, find good feet on new island shore. What comes difficulty can be prospering. I have voice that is not true falsetto, but I strain to reach and give elegancy to celestial music. I am addict to peace and there is much of support in this way. An island that is doorway to peace. This is my hope.

How big is this island??
Law enforcement must be included because, otherwise, there is no point in having laws!
You might want a judicial system so that the law enforcement people don't get out of hand...
Freedom of speech laws? Hmmm... Clothing optional laws?
I don't know! It's YOUR island civilisation! FINE! I'll just get my OWN island and make my own laws and see how you like that!!

A method for amending that Constitution. That's procedural.
As a substantive item, there should be a guarantee that no citizen who immigrates to your island shall have less or fewer personal freedoms, than s/he did at whence s/he immigrated from.
That would guarantee that everyone on this planet would be at least as well off as one would be staying at home.

Thou shalt not break Opifan's glasses and mistake him for "The Beast".
Singing around the campfire is certainly permitted, so long as it is kumbaya, or Redemption Song, and not "Kill the Beast, Slash his Throat!"

I just did this in a simulation on Saturday--make sure you add the first amendment into the constitution. We all wanted that.
