like ppl just accept the bad things just go on, things that wasnt allowed decades ago are allowed now.

yes i think so sabrina... ladies get laid all the time and they get pregnant so early.. well if they are not that careless they could always have sex but they should be careful not to get pregnant right... so that they could have fun in bed and the same time there future is safe... geee watta explanation... give me 10 points plss

I believe it's more of a social 'thing' in society. For decades, people have been trying to defend their own thoughts and be more open; because in the old days, people were often persecuted for their own thoughts and not abiding by the laws. The U.S. obviously has an ammendment granting free speech, but unless you are fearless, you will not just say 'anything'.
Today, because of such an advanced liberal view on the 1st ammendment, and because of a much more liberal society (liberal as in: more open and not binding by exact words), people don't have to care what they say, think or do. People don't have to care what they say, as long as it doesn't offend the specific person you talk to.
The carelessness of the people is often dictated by our laws and what our governing officials put into the lawbooks. Example: You can say what's on your mind to a teacher at school as long as you do not use fowl words and do it on a rather professional talking at an appropriate time. Before, you were punished if you didn't be quiet and accept the rules......
Why are people so careless...?? Because they don't HAVE to care....

Of course people are careless .
Look at the murder rates,the spread of Aids and other STD`s
The breakdown of the family has a lot to do with it.
Young people have no positive role models anymore.
They walk around angry and full of hate.
They don`t respect their parents,the elderly ,others or themselves.
Im the last to say god is the answer but family and Love IS.

well, i think its very normal for generations to change ,u know people change and so do u, year after another, maybe its normal, but i dont think that from careless, i think its becuase new technology,, good question any way

i think some poeple are because when some people need help people don't even care about them. mostly people care about what poeple think about them but those type of people i say r careless
