We know cats always land on their feet when they jump from a high place. We know a buttered piece of bread always fallls butter-side-down. NOW, if we strap a piece of buttered bread to the back of a cat, and it jumps from a high place (not hurting itself), which would land first, the cat's feet or the buttered bread? I LOVE CATS & I HAVE ONE AS A PET so don't get me wrong on this question. Besides, this and other questions are an introduction to the Gospel of John (not part of), the New Living Translation.

I think the cat would land feet first because it's heavier.plus cats' whiskers are their balance so a piece of toast shouldn't interfere with that.

OKAY THEN--I'll never forget the day that I first read of the buttered toast / cat thing in the Gospel of John intro----laughed till I almost cried---of course later in the Gospel of Matthew he goes on to explain that the cat would be the one landing upright because of its much bulkier weight--that might be where Newton got this idea about gravity---reading the Gospel of Matthew---HOLY HOT BUTTERED CATS

Umm...I'd still think the cat will land on its feet because it's heavier than the buttered bread.

Just don't try that at home to satisfy your curiosity! ;)

Probably the cat because it is heavier and the feet lands before the back... So if you say that it always land on its feet then its impossible to land on its back.
