Download an mp3 song on free software, like Ares or LimeWire, then open it in itunes. Or you can burn songs from a CD onto your computer and then open it with itunes. From there you can add the songs onto your ipod.

Just download songs from wherever and drag them into your iTunes library. That's what I do and probably a large majority or the people who own iPods.

go to the itunes store and scroll all of the way down and on the left colomn, there are like 2 or 3 free songs that are usually not very good but they're free!!!!

I sometimes go onto myspace.com and click on the music section. If you search for the artist you can click on their page and they have songs on the page and sometimes under the song it says download. So then you can download them and put them in your iTunes library where you can put them on your iPod.

You can download them from the internet if you want using p2p programs like limewire. Download it at limewire.com
You can also use other similar programs like edonkey, imesh, kazaa. Just look them up on google.

I suggest you use limewire or you just look around i tunes for special deals believe me they're there and you'll find them but the easiest way is limewire
