I find both parties to be equally corrupt and stupid. Considering the support the get from the American public, it's no wonder this country is a laughingstock.

The republicans are in power, they're screwing up, they are much worse. It is completely obvious.
Anyone who thinks that the parties are the same, is a REPUBLICAN. Plain and simple.
Republicans are screwing up right and left, they control the entire government and the government is failing to do it's job on any important issue. Republicans have two choices:
1) Admit that their party is terrible at governing
2) Pretend that the other party is just as bad.
Denial is a strong thing so you will see a lot more of #2 from Republicans before the November elections (no pun intended).
It's simple. If you don't like the way things are, vote against the people who made them that way. How much worse could the democrats do? Lose 2 american cities? Get involved in two more Iraqs?
When you watch Republican campaign commericals, will you see republicans bragging about how great the war in Iraq is going? How much they fixed the healtchare system? How well they handled Katrina? No, you will see them attacking their democrat opponents trying to convince you that somethow that would be worse. Get real. Not much coud be worse than what we have now!
VOTE THIS NOVEMBER!

Both parties think the other is populated either by idiots or subversives. Republicans think Democrats hate the United States and want to destroy it. Democrats are equally sure that George Bush and his cronies are doing the same thing. No real difference between the two in that regard at least.
In truth, both parties believe sincerely in their approach to governing this country. Neither desires the demise of the United States. It's just that they disagree on where the moral and political focus of this nation ought to be.
Which one is right? That depends on your own political philosophy and sense of ethics. Each of us, Democrat and Republican alike, is still entitled to his or her own political beliefs in spite of the inflammatory rhetoric coming from both sides. I hope that is something that never changes, regardless of which party is in power. The freedom to comment on political issues without fear or intimidation is what has kept our country strong for 230 years.

BOTH sides, and all politicians, are IDIOTS!
No matter who's in power, the idiots on the other side will continue to criticize or "trick them", if you will. It's their jobs!!
A majority of elected officials are in it for themselves, Republicans AND Democrats. It's a little thing called greed.
