How can I get backstage at a concert to meet an artist? Can I buy backstage passes somewhere?

I'm tryin to meet some ppl when they come in September and I dont kno how. Should I get in good with someone at a radio station or is it like a place I can buy backstage passes? I see madd girls backstage or on stage with passes and I wonder how they get them. PLEASE HELP ME!
