A season pass expires at the end of the operating season. It looks like the end of SF Magic Mountain's season is Dec 31st. I looked at the calendar and it shows no more open days after that date. Of course, the new year always ushers in the new season. I used to work at SF Astroworld (permanently closed as of 2005 operating season) and, as seasonal help, we would have to hire out at the end of December and be rehired in January to remain seasonal staff. I believe their season passes follow this same expiration policy.

Also, each season starts around March or April.
