Looks like she's pretty sexy and well proportioned. With her measurements, she would be extra small to small depending on the style. It would be better though to give her a gift voucher to a lingerie shop, maybe La perla or victoria's secret if these shops are available where you live. Not romantic the most romantic of gifts but more practical than buying her something she doesn't like or something that might offend her. Send it with flowers or chocolates for effect.

Get her a Victoria's Secret Gift Card so SHE can pick out the gift.If you get something too small or big it could cause drama for you if she is the jealous type.I'm saying if you get the wrong size she might flip out and ask if you wish she were smaller or if you have a another girlfriend on the side and thought of her when you bought the lingerie.(Seriously,there are women like that.) Just let her pick what she wants on your dime.

What does she usually wear? You have to take into consideration that she might act like she likes your gift,in front of you..........But,,,But,,, If she's use to a certain style, or size..And you get the wrong size, thinking she's more petite, then she really is, it could cause her to get insecure, and kind of ruin her birhtday.. Get her a matching bra/thong set. She seems slim, but go for the medium so it's not too snug. Some panties do run in small sizes even though it's a small it could fit like an XS. Go for her favorite color =)

Go shopping together! Then you'll have ideas for later too and you won't have to worry about getting the wrong size. Bigger is not better! You'd end up hurting her feeling if you got a large and she was a medium...

its her birthday get her something for her. A day at the spa.. with a friend. Don't be a cheapskate, woman don't like doing this stuff alone. They will.....but they don't like to. She'll buy the lingerie on her own. Believe me.

Size small. Even if she needs bigger (which I doubt), it's always better to err on to small side. As far as what kind to get, what does she usually wear? If she never wears thongs, don't get her a thong. If she never wears hipsters, don't get those. If she wears all types, then you should be good to go with whatever you choose. ^__^
Personally, I think you should get her a few pairs. Get a nice lacy, see-thru hipster... also called a tanga or brazilian cut. And also get a novelty type of thong. Or, if you order on Victoria's Secret, you can get 3 for $25. Here are my suggestions:

Well, what kind of underwear does she already have? When you're at her place and she's in the bathroom or getting something, quickly take a peak in her underwear drawer. Note the size, color, texture, style, etc.
It's not that hard. I've done it before.

those boy cut bikini types are comfy and pretty cute, you probably wont go wrong with the size in that style, likely a medium. maybe a small, you can ask the clerk.
