Who is the better rhyme-sprayer? I know, I know. To real Hip-Hop heads this is a stupid question. But Lil Bow Wow(And yes, I refuse to drop the 'lil")seems to think 'cause he's pushing units that it gives him lyrical credibility. Is he right?

yea like, the answer is obvious even to non hip hop heads. common is a beast lyrically. bow wow seems to go with whatever will sell him records but common went from straight underground in the early to mid 90's to having an intricate part in the progressive hip hop movement to straight up avant garde in 2000. his last joint produced by kanye was good but i think like water for chocolate is legendary.
bow wow on the other hand........................he aight. he's not as talented as common by far but common has been doing this way before bow wow was born.

Common, Bow Wow can't even compete with him. Common has been in the music business longer than Bow Wow, and Bow Wow is just popular because a lot of his fans are girls

I don't consider myself to be heavy into Hip Hop but I would choose Common over Bow Wow anyday.

I'm sorry but this is sort of a dumb question. They have different types of lyrical abilities. Common and Bow Wow are in like two different categories as far as their style of music. You simply cannot comapre the two.
