I was wondering what it would sound like because I can't imagine it being loud enough for someone to hear? How often does this happen?

Alright so here's the thing: vaginal farts (or "queefs") happen when air is trapped, it usually occurs during intercourse. Usually if it happens outside of intercourse it should be barely loud enough to hear BUT when it is during intercourse it can be embarrassing as it can be as loud as a normal fart. I blame my husband :)

I agree with everyone else. It happens during intercourse. I've never known them to be silent. Me and my husband can hear them. It does sound like a regular fart. You will know it when you hear it tho.

It happens because one way or another air gets trapped in there. Other people can hear it but it's just one quick burst, not prolonged like most butt farts.

it sounds like a real fart, and it happens most during doggy style. and yes you can heaqr it. sometimes loud.
