hi buddy!
science has not developed so much that planes could fly at a speed equal to light!!!!
however, if a plane is so developed, you will be able to see the light if you switch it on inside the aircraft, the same theory is applied for super sonic aircrafts. if there are two pilots inside the aircraft, they can hear their talk as both are flying at the speed greater than sound. here, relative speed comes into play. airsraft and both pilots acts as a single body. so, relatively, they are all still to each other. so, they can easily talk to eachother.

if you turn on the switsh which would light a bulb outside the aircraft, then you will not be able to see it. same happens in super sonic planes. if a sound is made outside the aircraft, the pilots will never be able to hear it.!!!

hope that i have answered ur querry!

Mmmm. Relativity.

As your plane, and everything on it approach the speed of light, it will seem as everything is business as usual, your light bulb lights up the inside of the cabin. You, the other passengers, and the plane are all on the same 'Relative frame'.
Fantastically weird things are observed by people outside your frame; time slows down, objects get longer, and if you traveled extremely close to the speed of light, and an observer managed to see in the window of your plane as it soared by, he might observe that only half the plane is lit.

Notice that I never said 'At' the speed of light, just very close to it.
It's usually accepted that you can travel very close to that speed, but not at the speed of light.

Perhaps a salty old dog of relativity will elaborate further for you on what happens at the speed of light.

Probably the wings being ripped off. If you do plan to go at light speed in a plane, don't try putting the landing gear down until you drop to sub light.
I assume this is why they call them light aircraft? Hence, c the speed of light, does it stand for cessna?

You bet. Cuz u're faster dan light only outside da plane, not inside. Da lite inside is travelling wid u.
I mean ur relative velocity is 0. Ditto, da relative velocity of lite is its actual speed in air. Someone outside da plane wouldnt be able to see u.

yes light is relative to the object, therefore the headlights will light up travelling twice the speed of light whereas the tail lights won't be visible at all due to it cencelling out!

If you travel faster than light what you see may be different.you may be able to see what happened, before last second ,last minute, yesterday etc so on.It may be travel into the past.ie,travel into time.Read HG Wells Time Machine.Interesting.
