On the album "Genius Loves Company," Diana Krall sings with Ray Charles... Is that the version you're thinking of? Krall is a fantastic jazz pianist and a great vocalist, you should check her out at http://www.dianakrall.com/ . I don't think she's gay though... what made you think she is gay?

"Genius Loves Company" is the first album by Ray Charles to go platinum, and it was released on August 31, 2005, eleven weeks after Ray Charles passed away. Gladys Knight, Willie Nelson, Billy Preston, Bonnie Raitt, Natalie Cole, Johnny Mathis, Norah Jones, James Taylor, Diana Krall, Elton John, Michael McDonald, and Van Morrison are the artists lending their voices to this album of duets.
Ray Charles collaborated with Grammy Award winner, Canadian Jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall (wife of musician Elvis Costello) for the rendition of "You don't know me" on the album "Genius Loves Company". The original was released by Ray Charles in 1962.
