if your heart is broken again and again by like family and friends and you now don't want to let people close to you or love anybody again is there any hope for healing that heart? This is my friends problem and he has been hurt over and over again and its not that he shut his heart off to people exactly well it kinda is but its more of the fact that he was really hurt and doesn't want to be hurt again by anyone and i don't know what to do to try and help him with this.

this is to invisible man, i could tell him to act like a man and not to cry and stuff but its either that or uncontrolable rage and hatred that will come out, and i don't want to see him angry, literally and this is no lie he has no limit to his temper, rage, and hatred, but its all because of his broken heart. i'd rather have him crying than being hateful.

You R really are great friend and just ask your friend to read these following lines,
" Hi yaar,
You have such a good friend who cares so much for i,so feel happy. there are so many people who dont even have a good friend like you do"
And probably you can do this to your friend, make him feel that he is important by giving him your time... Tell him that TIME HEALS ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING... The more the things hit harder the more he will bounce high in his life.......

Tell him to:
a) stop being so sensitive and realize his family or friends are insensitive (sometimes even real jerks)
b) articulate (tell them off or explain calmly that they've hurt his feelings)
c) internalize everything anyone else does and be miserable and lonely
d) cut them all (or any number of them ) off and find new friends (or not)
e) just stop caring and become a hermit
f) any combination of the above
Oh, as a guy thing, you know machismo, guys don't pout! They take decisive action and don't sit around whining, crying, brooding, or becoming a shrinking violet. He should stop playing the little wounded lamb and move on with his life. People by in large are rather self-centered and somewhat insensitive, not to be mean, but they just don't always want to walk on egg shells regarding everyone else. They know that with some people you just can't be point blank, so they don't really even try (things are less complicated that way), at least until someone is the same way toward them!
