We are part of a school organization looking for funding through sponsors. We accept money or tangible items. We are creating a three level reward system for our sponsors (gold, silver, bronze). So far we are rewarding through website advertisements, logo on our calender, and a logo on our t-shirt. Anyone else have any great ideas, big or small?

Ratboy is way off mark. Of course the company wants to be recognized for their sponsorship! It depends on the nature of your organization. You may be able to give a number of complimentary tickets to events hosted by your organization (ex. 12 free tickets to your play if you are the drama club). The sponsors at the higher level should be included on anything you print (including fliers, calendars, or posters). The sponsors should be recognized at events. They may provide you with a banner to hang, and you may wish to thank your sponsors through an announcement.

ok, i was organizing this event, and we had sponsors as well..
u can have an exclusive main sponsor, which pays the double amount of a "normal" sponsor
each sponsor gets a booth and the main sponsor gets a double sized booth at the spot he desires.
the logo can go on tickets as well, the main sponsor having a large logo, while all the others have a medium sized logo..
u can hang posters all over the school, and maybe some institutions that have anything to do with the school.. put the logos on the posters as well..
hand out flyers to the parents at the school when they come to pick up their kids, and let the flyer be a small sized poster
try to use the database of the school and send text messages to the cellulars of the ones registered, naming all sponsors, or at least the main sponsor

good luck!

The size of the reward should not matter to a company that sponsors a charitable cause. I would think having the students hand write thank you letters would be a wonderful way to show the sponsors how much you appreciate their support. That would mean more to them than a litte extra advertising, that would make it personal and drive home the reasons why they help in the first place.
