get a cool bath

wipe you forehead with a cool cloth

walk around naked

wear cotton as much as possible and avoid tight clothing

buy air conditioning

run cold water on the insides of your wrists -as the blood is pumped through it actively cools your blood down

emigrate to the north pole

hope you feel better soon :-)

A good trick when you do not have an AC is to use a simple fan and wet towel. Put the wet towel in front of the fan living half of it free to circulate the air. You can also put a bucket of water at the bottom of the towel to keep is wet the constantly. It will provide you with a bit cooler air.

You can also put the fan in front of an open window to bring outside air inside. Do that during the night when the air outside is pleasant.

Other tricks are to put you bed linen in the refrigerator for a while or spray them with water.

All of those tricks sound funny but actually work when there is no AC and you are desperate for a good night sleep.

Visit your bathroom for a cold water shower and you will feel better. Install an Air Conditioner if you can afford one. There are more sufferers than you in the world who have no shelters and food to eat. The live in slums in a most measurable condition. Think about them and you will have your answer. Wait for winter and monsoon to come for your comfort.

Go and fill the sink with really cold water, then immerse your hands and arms up th the elbow and keep them in there for a couple of minutes. The cold water cools the blood travelling through the arteries. Do it every so often. I do this with my kids and it works. It's much easier than having a cool bath.

Portable air conditioning from B & Q or Viking Direct. Works a treat but you must close the windows or it wont work. Any icy cold soft drink or Iced tea does the trick.

In biology i learnt that if you drink hot drinks such as tea then the body thinks it is warming up (even tho it isn't) and will actively work to cool you down. This combined with fans and the water on the wrist treatment should work.

Turn on ur AC if you have it, but being that you posted this question, I'm guessing you dont.......

Take a cold shower/bath, lay down in front of fan, try not to move alot, that will make you more hot. Have a basement? Stay down there for a while

Get some babywipes. Johnsons are the best. Wipe one round the back of your neck and over your feet regularly. And also drink plenty of water.
