Your skin everywhere thins as we age, including the face. It will give the appearance of higher cheekbones because of this. "Baby fat" is actually visible collagen (it's so plump, especially in the face, when we're young) and when females reach 18-25 their metabolism begins to change and we "lose" our baby fat. Hence the term, "growing into your features".

The height of your cheekbones is set at birth - you either have high cheekbones or you don't. They don't "develop".

"Baby fat" should be disappearing by the time you're seven or eight years old.

No, you don't necessarily get thinner cheeks as you age, it depends on your body type and how you age - a very specific thing that is different for different people and families, and dependent on how much weight you gain or lose as you get older.

Gravity takes its toll as you get older - people with round faces usually develop "jowls" as they age due to gravity pulling down on the tissue. Some folks get "wattles". Some just get wrinkles and that's all.

it depends on how you keep your body if your skinny now your face will get thinner by the time your 60-62... if you a lil heavy set it wil take 65-68, and so on.....but.... if you eat right and maintain a healthy diet you may never have a high cheek bone...most people have it b/c they didn't listeb to their doctors about staying healthy...you have nothing to worry about
