Eric Clapton - I liked him with the Yardbirds, Cream, John Mayalls Bluesbreakers, and Derek & The Dominos. He only got better when he went solo, and he's lasted longer then most artists do. I've seen him live twice and even named my son after him (in a roundabout way - his name is Derek :P)
