Why can't the United States consider idiot questions on Yahoo a first degree felony crime?
I see no difference in the logic.

because that the US is starting to put God out of the equation. The US government is starting to become very complacent with homosexuality and starting to give in to their needs and their wants, because they don't want to "offend" anyone. which by the way they are carrying on, not only are they offending the ones who don't believe in homosexuality, they are denying the reason this country exist. Godly morals. This country was founded on the gospel of Jesus Christ. On the capitol building, the Lincoln memorial, every step, wall of the WhiteHouse some form of Scripture, Title, Chapter, Verse is enscribed, which the founded fathers of this Country had placed their. Thats why they are regressing in morals then progressing. which turns into not making homosexuality a punishable crime.

Some countries still practice torture ..... Here's one: How about we stop worrying about what people do in bed and start worrying about whether or not they are responsible, trustworthy, honest and decent. Rather than looking at someone as a sex act, let's look at them as PEOPLE!!!
So as a side note many ignorant homophobes will say that it is against god's will.... So why then is it common for Bonobo Chimps (our closest genetic relatives) to practice male/male, female/male, and female/female sex. They also are the group of primates with the lowest incidence of rape. Maybe they are all happier.....
I would rather my child be an upright, honest, intelligent, responsible person and gay than they be hetero and bigoted hatemongers who seek to injure others.
Get a grip and get over it. Smoking is a bigger danger to society than Gays. two gays aren't going to give me lung cancer from second hand smoke (unless they smoke..)
I thought that this country was stolen from the natives so that we could be free from religious persecution. Is it that we just wanted to be free to persecute others?

I think it should be a crime, but not punishable by jail time. Make them go to some kind of treatment, like a mental hospital or something, a shrink maybe where they can hopefully get better and re enter society. On the 2nd or more offense, send them to jail.

Because we are an enlightened, to a point, country that doesn't punish people according to their lifestyles. Religion is the only reason it would be criminalized and religion doesn't run this government. Why would you want to imprison people just for living their life? Maybe there is something you have about your life that some would consider objectionable; do you want to go to prison for it?

Seriously, in general, crimes are things that affect or hurt other people, like murder, stealing, rape, etc. Homosexuality is just two guys or two girls gettin' their love on. That doesn't hurt anyone at all, unless you're among the MANY brainwashed religious freaks with whom I'd love to argue with in person so I could make them look like a COMPLETE idiot. Basically, homosexuality doesn't hurt anyone else (with a brain) and that's why it's not a felony. Can we say "DUH"?

Well look, just because I person decides to have sex with a person of the same gender doesnt mean they need to be killed. although I dont agree with being gay, I see that everyone has a right to live, and a right to be how they want to be. I may not like kissing a man or anything like that, but gays are still people. Who has a right to take away a god given right? Just like you have a right to live, why shouldnt they? I mean they probably oppose you watching porno movies, and downloading kiddy porn but they dont come out and call for your execution...

Homosexuality is not hurting anyone, so therefore should not be a capital crime. i think that any country who enforces these kinds of laws are intolerant and destructive who need to pull their heads out of their asses and realize that this is the 21st century.

Because Americans dont like the idea of any form of government telling us what we can and cant do in our bedrooms. Such a law would require us stripping our entire Constitution and Bill of Rights to nothing. I hope you get gang raped by 20 mandingos.
