Gets real hot when the sun goes down in the house. i can't get shutters plastic or wood.

A glass solarium is supposed to let in the light. You can cover the glass with paint, use a tinting agent or plastic application, put in drapes with suction-cup rods, use roll-down bamboo shades on the inside or outside.
A longer-term but nicer method would be to plant trees around the outside that will shade the whole side of the house.

I would think you need to shade the roof. Maybe you can get some shade cloth to put over the top. Planting some fast growing trees would help as well. Try a swamp cooler for the room.
