Your doctor can prescribe a variety of antibiotics and benzoyl peroxide medications to help with your acne. A good over the counter treatment are 1.0% or 2.0% Salicyclic Acid body washes. They have exfoliate the skin to prevent pores from clogging up.

I have acne on my back and chest, I have had it for the past 8 years. If your acne is bad I would recommend a doctors visit. I have some creams that was given to me and I was also on dianette (the pill) that treats skin conditions such as acne. There is also a treatment that only the hospital can give called roacatain, it is very strong and works well. But I think doing that is like last resort. If your skin isn't that bad, try out some different creams from your local chemist, drink lots of water that helps keep skin clear, don't eat much greasy foods that can add to it. Keep the skin clean from the outside, and if it gets any worse then seek help and get tablets.
For holiday I put fake tan on which covered it a little bit, also the sun works because it dries your skin out.
But try out some creams. Hope I helped a little :)

Glycolic peels would really help clear it up. It just depends how much money you are willing to spend to take care of it. Exfoliating will help too...
