Hhhhmm... that's all to easy but I forgot exactly were it is that you can control that!
Besides that you can download a censorship program. Just google free censorship program. The only way around it is to manualy end the programs process, wire thru another computer, or use a proxy. So if your sons not a raging computer nerd then the censorship wil be fine. What you will want to do is find one that makes a list of sites he can see instead of making a list of sites he can't see because let's face it as hard as you ever will try there will always be new bad sites made. I beleive google said there's now over 3,000,000,000 sites on the web with thousands made every day.
I am doing some freelance programming with C++, and I hope within a little while I will be able to start writing a censorship program I can sell off to my school (they'd go for that because the creators always there to fix any problems) and i'd be glad to send you a copy after i'm done.
Wait if you're on Windows XP OS then go to the control panel then security center then firewall then click the tab that has to do with what sites they can, and can't see then to see one of those websites you type in the password. So there ya go have fun with it.
If you need any further help just ask matt@runempire.com

I have a couple of ways that you can keep your son from travelling to web sites that you don't want him to. If you have Norton Internet Security activate the Parental Controls feature that comes with the software. Click on configure and there will be a tab that says "Sites". You can set what web sites he can browse and what sites he can't by configuring that. The other way is through Internet Explorer. Go to Internet Connections and then select the security tab. Click on restricted sites. Then you just type in the websites that you don't want him to access and it will keep IE from opening the page. Hope this helps you out.

A good Doctor has following points.. *His social or communication skills with the patients which constitutes both verbal and non-verbal (body language) communication...As our profession is a Community Service. *He should be a role model (a doctor who tells his/her patients to quit smoking should not be seen smoking outside the hospital 5 minutes after the patient leaves.. where's the intergrity in this right?) *He should be able to communicate in a way the patient understands (not going off on the properties of amino acids... etc. etc) as this may come out as arrogance *He, IDEALLY should follow up on his patients ... give them phone calls to see how they're doing *The doctor should be WILLING TO TEACH!!... this goes along very well with preventive health care. The doctor should give the patients the fishing rods, rather than the fish. If a doctor knows how to teach his/her patient what to do and what not to do, the doctor will be able to help the patient change his lifestyle for the better so that the patient doesn't have to keep coming back. *>And last but not the least he must be INTELLIGENT, UPDATED, And Most Of all ETHICAL. You can configure your computer settings to approve sites that you have agreed on before you give him full use of his pc. When you click on your browser (internet explorer or whatever yours might be), click on tools, intenet options, then click on the 'content' tab, click on enable to see your ratings and decide which one best suits u. Might I add that the strictest rating blocks your child from practically anything.
I am a computer teacher myself and this is my opinion. You sit down with your child whatever the age and give him a good talking to about not trusting strangers online, ask him would he start talking to a complete stranger on the street and then explain to him that this is the situation online. Be honest, let him know there are bad people out there, online simply to take advantage of children and he must never disclose personal information such as his name, phone number, school etc. Once he has a healthy fear of the dangers you have made a good start.
Put msn messenger on his computer. Add his friends (kids he knows ) you may have to organise msn with his friends parents, this way he can talk online with only those you trust.
It saddens me , these old fashioned parents that hold their kids back from computers and technology, we do not stop them going outside although they could get run over by a car. Teach him well, keep an eye on things and give him a little freedom. good luck

You could use a parental control program, which can prevent them from going to questionable sites but I don't know of a way to only allow sites of your choosing

You may only insert a Filter for all the sites that you wont want to see your son. But there Exist uncountable immoral sites. Then in practice you are not able to perform all of them. I think, when
he works with computer you should control him. Otherwise he can see what he likes.
good luck.

Open your browser and click on Tools. Then click Iinternet Options. Next click the Content tab. Click on Settings. Click through the various tabs and set your guidelines the way you want them. Next look for how to set the password to this area and set one which only you know. When you're working your way through the tabs, input the sites you know are safe and are willing to let your son see and use. When done, click Okay.
That should be it.

Programs like Netnanny and Cybercop allow you to set access to sites based on name or category. This should work for you.

I think with IE there are settings that can restrict users from visiting certain sites. You can also set up a group policy.
