how does one meet his favorite artist? in my case aretha franklin?

i have loved her music since 1968! i went to see her in vegas and atlantic city; she will be in NC this summer.

is she still alive?
get in contact wiht her record company....but please remember that some many people would love to meet her - and how stressful that would be if you constantly have people around talking to you!

maybe write to Oprah, or Ellen...that's what always comes to mine when I want to do something that wouldn't be so easy for us "common folk" heh
