It sounds like you're suffering from depression. Yes, life will sometimes kick you in the teeth, but sometimes it will treat you like a princess too. Don't do anything rash--suicide makes everyone who survives you feel bad, and as you noticed when your boy friend tried it, even if you survive, many of those who care, feel worse. As for your boy friend's attempt, it is doubtful you could have done anything to stop it except maybe being cheerier and supportive. You have your own problems which means you were struggling to be cheerier anyway. I don't know if you could have been more supportive. You need to get control of your problems first, and you may need help to do that, so why don't you try to find a therapist? Check with the local hospital if you don't know any. Remember, you might go through several before you find the right one for you.

Sometimes things happen to humans that they have no control over. Your retinal problems are proof of this. As for that girl, it's her loss not yours. Money is just a materialistic thing, it can be here one day and gone the next. Just ask the people who invested all their monies into Enron and now have nothing.
No matter what you go through, there is someone out there who is going through something worse. Think of all the people who lost loves ones and those who lost everything when the Tsunami hit.

Its called Karma baby and it goes around! Maybe you did something similar to a girl that thought you were MR PERFECT. Maybe you just were not meant to be a football player, and I dont know how much money you make because I'm not good at conversions, but if your whole world revolves around money then you will ALWAYS BE MISERABLE. Just give it time, what is meant to be will be and you will eventually find that out.. and I'm sorry but if she with another man- that shouldn't be the girl of your dreams!

come on....it seams the balance is a little on the opposite site, but this means only that you have to appreciate more what life gives you...maybe your expectations are different of you can get from life(this doesnt mean that are less important)...If what you do for a living doesnt go swell, maybe it is not what you're meant to do....if the girl dumped you,she was not the girl that you meant to be with....The only problem is that you seam to had lost the courage to fight baby.....life's a ***** with everybody...it depends only on how much everybody is leting us see....You can laugh in life's face,it will make you feel better,i can promise that...Good luck,i will send good thoughts to you

Well I can tell you that life seems to go like that........you go through times of good times, things seem to work out, and for no apparent reason at all(or depends upon your beliefs?)and then you go through rough times and times like it sounds you are having. This is the good and the bad, the balancing of life. I mean, if we had it work out every time, in our favor, would we really appreciate life???Or would we, no matter what age, just take it for granted? Ya know what I mean? I know when it is rough times, and I truly am sorry you are having them, it seems like they're never going to end but it will, I promise!!! We just had our then, 15 year old, who was a starting goalie on his high school lacrosse team, and was told that he was going to go anywhere, do anything in life with colleges, lacrosse, all of it............and he got diagnosed with Crohn's disease, has had three surgeries in three years, including having spinal surgery as he had not herniated discs at the age of 17 years old then, but degenerated discs! Yeah, you can only imagine what this guy has gone through on top of it put him in an area of high school, teenagers that are already selfish, and self-centered, and teachers with little to no understanding of diseases as well as coaches, and well let me tell you, nobody but one good guy friend has been around, besides us a family! I think it was, in a BIG WAY, a way for him to learn what is important in life, and who truly is a friend and how to be a friend. It was a scary time for him, for all of us but we've gotten through it. Who knows what is to come, have been through other things with our youngest, our daughter. So I've learned that you take it all, the good and the bad and you enjoy what you can, one moment at a time, one day at a time, and make the best of the rest!!!! I hope it helps you to know that there are loads of people out there, with all kinds of problems, and dealing with it on a day to day basis. When our son took a look at these kids who had Cancer(and at one point we didn't know if he had it,ugh)and chemotherapy, all of it, and have seen kids throughout high school die from acute leukemia, cancer and then he turns around and is totally grateful for what he has been given, a chance to continue on in life! So I wish you the best, and know that through the darker, harder times, there is always a light at the end of that tunnel.............

One surefire solution for your bad luck, sell your story with its tragic details to a good script writer and it will make a blockbusting movie.
